Apologies as always for delays in updating this page — as the photo at left indicates, we've had our hands full in the best possible way!

Eleanor Tru Thomas was born March 15, and after a rocky first couple of weeks is doing great, growing like crazy and getting more expressive every day. But most of you already know this, and a picture tells a thousand words so see for yourselves!

Jennifer is doing well — the diabetes she suffered during gestation cleared up within a day of delivery, and she greatly enjoyed her maternity leave. Unfortunately, while she was out, her HIV Assessment & Prevention Services group at UCSF lost its funding, so she's currently weighing other employment options.

Work continues to keep me hopping: HyperArts has been a wonderful source of great projects and camaraderie, with recently launched sites including Digipede, Continental Western. I also completed work on Teleosis earlier this year in conjunction with Neuwirth Design, and continue to work regularly with EPS and The Stupski Foundation. Big new things in the works as always, so watch this space...

No travel this year since Christmas, though we're planning to be back in Virginia for Labor Day to introduce my mom (who's at Goodwin House Alexandria) to her granddaughter at long last, and looking forward to seeing some good friends soon as they pass through town. Joe (now often referred to as Unkie Jobius, to differentiate from Ellie's other Uncle Joe Perlman) is well, living on the next hill over in Bernal Heights (Jennifer and I moved to Potrero Hill in August 2003) and working at Tellme Networks in Mountain View.

As always, whenever you're in San Francisco, please let us know!

Sean
